Take a quick look around our church ...

Our bright, modern and spacious church is considered to be a fine example of 1960’s ecclesiastical architecture. The east wall is clad with local Pooilvaaish stone and features a unique red glass Cruciform window. The Altar is made from Italian Marble.

The Irish Limestone Font is decorated with the ‘Ring Chain of Gaut’ which reflects our island’s rich Celtic heritage. The west end window incorporates 3 war memorials plus a memorial to members of RAFA who died in the 1958 Winter Hill Air disaster. The twelve different coloured windows on the north side of the Chancel are called the Apostles windows.

The Nativity Mural, painted in oil by Dorothy Nicholson, was a gift to the new church from the Sunday School who saved ship half pennies to cover the cost.
